Trips for schools and kindergartens

At Górecznik, we combine learning with experience, movement, and play. Children learn about animals, discover the world of insects and fungi, learn about life in the countryside of old, and during workshops, they prepare, build, and create their own things.

We tailor the program to the age of the participants. The nature-focused lessons are led by trained guides and educators, and we have been participating in the program for years. „"Education for the Barycz Valley"”.

Instead of a school desk — observation, movement and direct contact with nature.

We prepare classes with kindergartens and school groups of various ages in mind.

Educational trails, workshops and time for activities in the Adventure Park.

Four paths. Four ways to discover the Barycz Valley.

A walk combined with learning – this is what Lessons Close to Nature at the Górecznik Family Adventure and Education Park look like.

We don't lock children away in a classroom. We go out into the field, observe, touch, talk, and discover. During classes, we show how animals live and what they eat, introduce them to the forest ecosystem, teach them to identify insects and fungi, and show them what the daily lives of the villagers of old were like.

Who lives in Górecznik? What do the animals eat and what are their habits? During a guided walk, children visit farmsteads, meet their inhabitants, and learn more about the animal world.

Small creatures and a big world to discover. Children will learn about the insects found in the Barycz Valley, their structure, habits, and importance to the entire ecosystem.

Walk, observe, and learn to identify mushrooms. During classes, children will learn about the rich world of mushrooms, their importance to the forest, and the basic differences between edible and poisonous species.

What was life like before modern appliances appeared in homes? Ancient objects, tools, and daily chores become a starting point for conversations about the lives of our ancestors.

Workshops

What we like most is when the participants in our classes not only listen and observe, but above all, act themselves.

That's why we've prepared workshops during which we use natural materials, learn about the traditions of the region, teach an ecological approach to the world around us, and unleash creativity.

As part of our culinary workshops, we also draw on the traditions of Greater Poland and promote good eating habits.

We learn the secrets of preparing traditional sourdough bread.

A culinary encounter with one of the most recognizable flavors of Greater Poland.

Plants, soil, and a practical lesson showing how much we can do with our own hands.

We learn about beneficial insects and create a safe haven for them.

Ecology meets creativity - we create our own unique bag.

Breathe life into your bowl arrangement and watch it fight drought on its own.

Creative workshops using inspiration and materials drawn from the natural world.

Nature becomes the material for creating one's own artistic work.

Create an eco-friendly wreath from natural materials. Plastic-free, glue-free, and environmentally friendly.

A safe space to play
The zone was designed with active play for children in mind and to minimize architectural barriers. It is also wheelchair accessible.

After studying, it's time for a solid portion of exercise

A trip to Górecznik is more than just an educational experience. From May to September, every guided tour also includes fun in the Entertainment Zone.

This is a space created so that after classes, children can let off steam, use up their energy and simply have fun.

A lot of exercise and fun for children who like to jump, run and be constantly on the move.

A dynamic attraction full of excitement that brings lots of joy to both children and adults.

Obstacles, balance and a bit of courage – the perfect attraction for little adventurers.

Independent driving on a specially prepared track and lots of automotive fun.

One of the most popular attractions for children and a quieter moment of fun together during your stay at the Park.

A quick ride over the Park area and a good dose of excitement for lovers of active fun.

Even more to discover

A walk around Górecznik Pond is an important part of your stay at our park. Paved paths lead between the farmsteads, educational elements, and attractions located throughout the Adventure Park.

During the walk, at almost every stage you can find another excuse to talk about nature, history and the world around us.

During the walk you can see, among others:

A fairytale stop on the walking route that is particularly engaging for younger children.

Old objects and equipment showing what the daily life of our ancestors was like.

A model showing old professions and traditional crafts.

Stops with interesting facts about nature, animals and the region.

An encounter with the prehistoric world in a form attractive to the youngest.

A place to observe some of the most beloved residents of Górecznik.

Puzzles, movement tasks and group cooperation help children discover the world of nature and insects.

An independent trip around the Park, during which children solve tasks, look for clues and learn about other places in Górecznik.

Animals that kids love to learn about

Animals are one of Górecznik's biggest attractions. While walking around the park, children can visit the enclosures, observe their inhabitants, and learn more about their habits.

In Górecznik you will encounter lemurs, goats, pigs, ponies, donkeys, ostriches, Patagonian maras, llamas, alpacas, capybaras, camels, and yaks, among others. Another special place is Capybara Island, where you can observe some of our newest residents.

Worth knowing before your visit

We do not accept pre-booked dates. To book a tour, contact us, schedule a date, and then complete the tour request form (downloadable documents panel). Download the form, complete it manually or electronically, scan it, and send it to: animatorzy@gorecznik.pl. The reservation is confirmed by a return message, which we send only in response to the email containing the form.

The program depends on the group's needs. In addition to workshops, we offer educational trails. We invite you to explore the animal enclosures, which are open 365 days a year. The Entertainment Zone is open to groups from May to the end of September (and in October, weather permitting).

This is strictly dictated by the tour program. Groups typically spend 2 to 3 hours with us.

In accordance with internal regulations, disabled persons will not pay anything for entry to the Park. The same applies to their guardians.

Unfortunately, no. Our inn serves dishes prepared by our kitchen, so bringing your own food within the Adventure Park is prohibited. We allow children to eat a sandwich, banana, and other snacks.

Please enter "Karczma & Hotel Górecznik" into your navigation system, not the property's address. Unfortunately, entering Antonin Wrocławska 7 won't lead you to us, even though it's the correct address. This isn't our fault. Here are the correct coordinates:

51.572775944887134, 17.830604366159694

After entering these values in Google Maps, the destination should appear. Our facility is located in Antonin, but close to Przygodzice.

Yes. The Górecznik Inn and Wigwam Cafe operate within the complex.

The bus turns RIGHT at the entrance to Górecznik. There, by the Wigwam (number 12 on the map), is a parking lot for larger cars. Please inform the driver NOT to enter the parking lot by the Karczma (number 1 on the map). The entrance to the park is through the Wigwam – after getting off the bus, please proceed there. The group must be checked in there before the tour by a tour leader or guide. This is the first time you can use the restroom there and wait for a member of staff. Please inform the staff of your arrival: simply state the password "Group e.g. from Oleśnica," "Group from Ostrów Wielkopolski," etc.

If the group has chosen the guided tour and educational paths:

Educational trails (numbers 8, 9, 10 and 11 on the map) are located around the pond and there are lessons close to nature with a guide/educator.

If the group chose the guided option and the dinosaur trail:

The exception is the dinosaur educational trail, which takes place in the Entertainment Zone (No. 7). The workshops and dinosaur trail are led by an external person – Szymon Górnicki.

If the group chose the "WITHOUT GUIDE" option (Scenario 1 or 2)

We invite you to the Wigwam, where the group must be checked in before entering the facility.

Any changes to the number of people participating in the tour or to the tour program must be notified to us at least 48 hours before arrival – preferably by text message to 730 744 199. Cancellations (for reasons other than weather) must be notified at least one week before arrival. Unfavorable weather conditions may or (in the case of weather warnings) should be canceled.

The dining times, which are subject to an additional fee (the dining location is determined by the tour leader – with the exception of the bonfire in the Entertainment Zone), are determined during check-in with the tour leader or guide at the beginning of the tour. When planning your tour, please remember that the inn's kitchen is open only at 11:45 AM.

Teachers receive the same food as children at the children's price. We also offer free coffee/tea – to be arranged with the tour coordinator or guide.

Payment for the tour – when will I pay? Will I pay for the number of people booked or for the number of people who actually participated in the tour?

Payments are usually processed after the tour. Payments are processed with the tour guide at the Wigwam Cafe. If you wish to receive an invoice instead of a receipt, please notify us before the tour and before making any payments on the day of your stay. If this information is not provided, please provide your Tax Identification Number (NIP) on the form. If you have a different invoice recipient and payer, please also indicate this on the form. In all cases, you must accept our property's terms and conditions.

Current application forms can be found on the website Education/Trip Forms. Once you've selected the appropriate program, download the appropriate form, complete it, and submit it according to the instructions. You can also use the button „"Download application form"” in the tour booking section.
